Abstract Information

The following information is required during the abstract submission process. It is recommended to authors to write and save their abstract in a Word document. Abstract text can then be copied and pasted into the different sections described below.

Once logged into the https://www.womenshealthconference.sg, presenting authors should click the green “Click here to submit abstract”

Preferred Presentation Type: Presenting authors need to indicate their preference of presentation type for the submitted abstract. These include:

  • Poster (Poster Session): The Women’s Health Conference 2024 will feature in-person Poster Sessions from 24 October through 26 October 2024. Poster presentations offer a great opportunity for the presenting author to present their research and learn about their peers’ research.
  • Oral (Oral Session): At the https://www.womenshealthconference.sg, Oral Sessions will highlight outstanding abstracts in a topical area. Presenting authors can opt to have their abstract considered for oral presentations, however, selection is not guaranteed. If an accepted abstract is not selected for oral presentation, it will be programmed as a poster presentation.
  • Indifferent

Multiple abstracts can be submitted by the same presenting author, but they must address different research topics. Given the abstract programming format, for each presenting author submitting multiple abstracts, two abstracts at maximum will be accepted, one for oral session and one for poster session.

It is expected that at least one author of the accepted abstract registers and attends the Women’s Health Conference 2024. Only abstracts of registered participants will be included in the conference materials.

Primary topical area: Presenting authors need to select 1 primary topical area for the submitted abstract. Please consider submitting your abstract even if you believe it does not fit precisely into one of the options available. Abstracts will be reviewed and an abstract’s topical area may be adjusted to group-like abstracts together for presentation.

Primary areas (select 1):

  • Prevention and early detection of major non-communicable diseases
  • Holistic approach for promoting women’s health (e.g.,  omics, health service research, qualitative research)
  • Life-course perspective for major health issues among females (e.g., associations between maternal factors and offspring health)
  • Innovations in women’s health (e.g., digital health, machine learning, artificial intelligence)

Keywords: Presenting authors need to provide up to three keywords associated with the content area of the abstract to assist with the abstract programming at the https://www.womenshealthconference.sg.
